 INTRODUCTION:

1.        As the year ends – what changes are you going to make?

2.        What will be different one month from now? 1 year from now?

 

I DARE YOU – FOR ONE MONTH:

 Not miss a single service – Hebrews 10:25

  1. It may require some sacrifice, miss some other activities
  2. Gain – consistent study of a topic, text, class (no gaps in the study)

 Study every day – 2 timothy 2:15

  1. Even if you have to turn off the TV
  2. Take 10 – 15 minutes – get up early, stay up late, over lunch

 Bring one visitor

  1. Friend, relative, co-worker, neighbor
  2. Introduce them to others
  3. Show them classes

 Go Visiting

  1. Not just your friends
  2. Pick someone you don’t know, new member, sick

 Pray every day

  1. Pick up a “Prayer Request” sheet on Sunday PM
  2. Pick 5 or so names to pray for each day
  3. Next day – pray for the next 5 on the list

 Put Your Heart into Worship

  1. Sing
  2. Pray
  3. Give
  4. Study
  5. Communion

 Plan for Coming Events

  1. Check the monthly calendar
  2. Mark the events to participate in

 Dare to Die

  1. Matthew 10:22 – hated
  2. Matthew 16:24 – take up your cross
